The memorial service, or 'Mnimosino', which in Greek is translated “calling to mind” is done in memorial and remembrance of the deceased. During the service, prayers are offered so that the deceased may receive mercy and forgiveness for the sins they may have committed in their lives. Christ, the Virgin Mary, and the saints are all asked to intercede.

For each parishioner who would like to place an order for a mnimosino, there is no set price, however we kindly accept any donation. Please add your donation into an un-marked envelope and place it into the candle donation box at the front of Church or purchase online via the website.

The Church prepares the koliva on silver platter/trays. At the end of the Sunday church service, it is emptied in to a bigger tray and are available for the parishioners and loved ones of the departed to take the koliva in small bags.
